Biography

Bill Donnelly is a successful international attorney, chamber executive, national military advisor and playwright.

Graduating from Boston College Law School (JD) and New York University Graduate School of Law where he majored in international law (LLM), he was hired as an in-house international attorney for Warner-Lambert Company, a Fortune 500 company. He worked there for 23 years doing deals in 48 countries around the world. He was then scouted and hired away by the Morris County Chamber of Commerce in New Jersey to be its President and Executive Director. While there he transformed the Chamber into the “very model of a modern chamber” (Business News New Jersey, June 23-29, 1997)) and transformed it into a financially successful organization.

The United States Army recognized Bill’s leadership skills and appointed him to be the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for the State of New Jersey with the rank of a three star general. He came to the Army’s attention because as Chamber President he initiated the creation of a public-private partnership at Picatinny Arsenal in Morris County; the partnership allowed private companies to partner with the Army and to utilize the $1.3 Billion technology infrastructure on the research and development post.

Throughout his career Bill has been creatively capturing his worldly insights by writing plays. The attached Production History chronicles that success.
